Harmanpreet Kaur became the first Indian woman to score a century in a T20I International after smashing 103 off 51 balls in the opening game of the Women’s World T20 against New Zealand.
Harmanpreet hit eight sixes in her innings, the most by an Indian woman in a T20I innings.
Overall, her eight sixes tied the second-most sixes (with New Zealand’s Sophie Devine) by any woman in a T20I innings. Deandra Dottin had hit nine sixes against South Africa in 2010.
