Owned by Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia, Karan Paul and Mohit Burman, Kings XI Punjab has always been a tough side to defeat, Their 10 seasons were with complete ups and downs, they have managed to grab the Runners-up place once and have finished Thrice at the bottom of the table.

Kings XI Punjab has always been a star-studded squad with stars like Yuvraj Singh, Glenn Maxwell, Kumar Sangakkara and Adam Gilchrist, but when it comes to pressure situations the team has always failed to tackle these situations. KXIP will now look to balance their squad by retaining their key and valuable players.

Sandeep started off his cricketing career as a batsman, but his coach advised him to concentrate on bowling, and there was no looking back. he has been one of Punjab’s most consistent performers, he took 41 wickets in the previous Ranji season. he has represented India at two Under-19 World Cups – 2010 and 2012. In three seasons for Kings XI Punjab, Sandeep picked 39 wickets and also came into limelight as a death bowler.

Sandeep is the first player in IPL to get Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, and Ab De Villiers out in the same game. After his fabulous season for Kings XI Punjab, Sharma soon was selected in 15 men squad for the T20I tour of Zimbabwe.

T Natarajan is a pacer from Salem district in Tamil Nadu. Natarajan came into limelight when he took 4 wickets against Karaikudi Kaalai in the Tamil Nadu Premier League. He was later bought by Kings XI Punjab in 2017 IPL Auction, he is a son of a porter and he was bought for a whopping amount of 3 crores. he made his First-class debut for Tamil Nadu against Bengal in January 2015.

Until the age of 20 years, Natarajan was playing and practising tennis ball cricket and never even thought about playing in IPL, It was a well-wisher who came to him and guided him towards playing cricket at a commercial level. he is a death overs specialist and has mastered the art of bowling perfect yorkers. he once stated that he could change the game just by his lethal yorkers.

Before captaining KXIP in 2017 IPL season, Maxwell had never captained any of his 338 List A, First Class and T20 matches. Maxwell is known as the fastest run scorers in the world cricket. He can be termed as a complete as he is a powerful hitter of the ball, tricky bowler, and the most important energetic fielder. With his big-hitting abilities, it was not a surprise when he was elected as the captain of the KXIP side.Maxwell had got off to an enthralling start in the year 2014 after hitting 95 against CSK, following it up with 89 against Rajasthan Royals before hammering another 95 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
