The English bowling all-rounder, David Willey, who’s a part of the CSK side, has pulled out of the IPL citing personal reasons. David Willey and his wife are due to have their second child and the English player has decided to put his family first in these times.
Willey, a regular in the English setup, is the second pace bowling option withdrawing from the league from the CSK side. Earlier, the South African pacer, Lungi Ngidi had pulled out of the league as well. With two pacers short, Chennai would look for viable replacements. Interestingly, David Willey had joined CSK the previous year as a replacement himself.
