Shikhar Dhawan, India’s left arm opener and their centurion from the last game, is set to miss a couple of matches or more in CWC19. Dhawan was injured when a bouncer from Pat Cummins hit him on his left hand. He was in Leeds for further scans and is currently under the observation of Patrick Farhart – Indian team physio.
No replacements have been called as of now and Dhawan will continue to stay with the Indian team in UK. The Indian team combination is set to change a little in Dhawan’s absence and fans will be waiting to see how the management tackles the situation.
