IPL governing council announces “Each IPL franchise can retain 5 players”.
But the flash news says, “M.S.Dhoni’s CSK return has been confirmed officially”. That is the rapport he has created with Chennai Super Kings and people of Tamil Nadu.
The connection between this man and Chennai can’t be described in words. It all started in the year of 2008, from then it is a never ending love story.
- I would like to share few fabulous moments of this man which made him a Chennai boy.
This is the match in 2008 against RCB, I still remember that match, he thrashed Steyn for 24 runs in an over who was at his peak of his career and MS won his first MoM in IPL.
And definitely 2010 edition’s last league match against punjab, those two monsterous sixes then the aggression he carried after that and ofcourse he won us our first title.
Back to back IPL trophies, 2 CLT20 trophies, 6 times fair play award, qualified to play offs/semis in all the seasons we appeared, highest win percentage even though we didn’t play two seasons everything is under his captaincy. What more the fans of the club wants?
And the best part is, it is mutual. He loves Chennai as much as he loves his home town. The very next day after the 2 years of suspension ended, he posted a pic of him in CSK jersey with his nickname we have given him “Thala” that shows his love towards Chennai and his eagerness to return to his den.
The kind of reception he gets everytime he visits Chennai, nobody will believe if someone says he is from Ranchi and not from Chennai.
The connection that Dhoni and us CSKians have is an emotion. It is like the joy of a child after seeing it’s mom after long time.
Nee vaa Thala ❤
Your den is waiting for your arrival ❤
